Monday, April 10th
At 6:30 am, me and my friends, we woke up. We dressed and did the bed. Had a breakfast with : toasts, orange juice, milk, chocolate spread, cereals, jam ... We took the train from Mottingham to Cannon Street. We walked on London Bridge, emptied of any traffic because of the funerals of an English policeman. Traffic blocked as a symbol of respect. Me and the group, walked near the Thames to the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. It was a very intersting guided visit and also an excellent exercise for my English comprehension ... We visited the Tate Gallery, a museum of modern art. We lunched outside the Tate on black benches. It was a sandwich with cheese and ham, crisps, a fruit, chocolate, cake and water. We did the cruise on the Thames to go and see the Tower of London. We walked around, towards Tower Bridge. Back to the embankment, from the Tower of London to Westminister. On the cruise, i saw London Eye, it was very tall. We strolled around the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the statue of Churchill where we could also see lots of bunches of flowers paying tribute to the March 22th attack. We walked towards Westminister Abbey, where we admired the front facade and went shopping. We saw the Prime Minister's house (Theresa May) "10, Downing Street". We went to Whitehall Palace : where we admired the fabulous marching of the guards. We did some selfies with them. We went also at Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. Finally, we took the train from Charing Cross to Mottingham at 6:30 pm. I ate in my familly, a stew. I called my mother, took a shower and slept.
